Welcome to your Karate in Salford.
We are training at The Angel Centre in Chapel Street, easy to reach from all parts of Salford, close to the university, Salford Central Metrolink and Manchester City Centre.
The classes in Salford are part of our network in Manchester. Our training follows the Missing Link cycle concept that makes it possible to attend the regular Omote classes, no matter of your graduation level. On top of that, you find Okuden classes featuring advanced and specialised topics.
To make training as flexible and practical for you as possible, the schedule offers a mix of indoor, outdoor and online classes throughout the week. Individual lessons are available as well.
Training is open for all ages, with dedicated Kids Classes.

Your gate to the world of martial arts:
The Missing Link concept is always open for beginners – you will be welcomed and looked after by teachers and advanced students all the same. With the mix of face to face classes in the dojo and online offers, it is always possible to brush up on basics as well.
You are always welcome to join for some sweat, fun and bruises (don’t worry, not too much of the latter, but a lot of the first two).
Missing Link Martial Arts connects tradition, modern applications and two of the biggest sources of Martial Arts: China and Japan. It unlocks the actual fighting content within the art and the philosophy behind it. We care deeply for Modern Application: Urban self defense, health and fitness, inner balance and well-being.
Find your flow, health, fitness and inner balance. Not all of it in the first lesson, but you will definitely:
Every lesson includes valuable information for coping with conflicts, self defence and personal health and fitness. It will give you an insight into martial arts and help you decide whether this is something you want to do more often.
Sensei Tony Bolton is well known throughout Manchester – as a hard working martial artist always looking for new experiences and never stopping his own learning journey, as an ambitious teacher and last not least as a host for some of Manchester’s most loved comedy events. Today, he is the motor of Missing Link in Manchester. He also took on the office of Chief Instructor England.
Heero is member of the Founder Circle of the Missing Link Community and brought the concept to Manchester. Before this, he travelled extensively and lived in Finland, China and Estonia. He has been practicing martial arts most of his life and wrote quite a few books during these 35+ years. Today, he lives in Scotland with his family, but visits Manchester regularly to teach, make plans and meet friends.
